What is Kaptex?

Kaptex is a Chrome extension that connects directly to your Google NotebookLM account. It lets you clip web pages, YouTube videos, Reddit threads, and files from any tab — without ever switching to NotebookLM.

Instead of copying URLs manually or switching back and forth between tabs, Kaptex adds a one-click capture button on supported sites and a panel you can open from any page. You pick the notebook, hit save, and Kaptex handles the rest — source type detection, upload, and sync included.
