Can I save my Claude, ChatGPT, or Perplexity conversations to NotebookLM?

When you're deep in a research conversation with Claude, ChatGPT, or Perplexity, those exchanges are valuable sources. The problem is that sharing links to AI conversations doesn't work in NotebookLM — the URLs are private or expire, and you'd end up with a broken source.

Kaptex solves this by extracting the actual conversation text from the page and sending it directly to NotebookLM as a text source.

How it works: - Claude — Kaptex reads the full conversation (your messages and Claude's responses, attributed by speaker) and sends it as a text source - ChatGPT — same: full thread with both sides of the conversation - Perplexity — captures the answer content as clean prose

Click the floating "Add to notebook" button that appears on these pages, pick your notebook, and the conversation is saved. You never leave the tab.

Why not just save the URL?

Claude and ChatGPT conversations are private — their URLs require authentication and can't be accessed by NotebookLM. Perplexity links expire. Kaptex reads the conversation directly from the page while you're there, so it works regardless of URL access.
