How to remove the NotebookLM watermark from a video
NotebookLM does not export video files directly. The watermark people refer to appears on exported presentation slides — PDFs, PPTX files, and PNG infographics — not on any video output.
If you have not recorded yet — remove it from the slides first: 1. Go to the Kaptex NotebookLM Watermark Remover at kaptex.com/notebooklm-watermark-remover 2. Upload your PDF or PPTX — the watermark is removed in your browser in seconds 3. Use the clean slides for your screen recording or presentation
This is the easiest path. Present or record from the clean file and the watermark never appears in the video.
If you have already recorded a video with watermarked slides: You will need a video editor: - Crop the frame — if the watermark is in a corner, crop the video slightly to cut it out - Cover with a shape or overlay — add a matching color block over the watermark area in CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or iMovie - Apply a blur — blur the corner of every clip where the watermark appears
Removing it before recording is much simpler. The Kaptex tool takes a few seconds and saves significant editing work later.
