How to remove the NotebookLM watermark from a PDF
NotebookLM exports slide decks as PDFs with a watermark on every page. To remove it:
Fastest: Kaptex Watermark Remover (free, in-browser) 1. Export your NotebookLM slides as PDF 2. Go to the Kaptex NotebookLM Watermark Remover at kaptex.com/notebooklm-watermark-remover 3. Select the PDF tab, drag your file in, and click Remove 4. Download the clean PDF
All processing happens in your browser — the file is never uploaded to a server.
Alternative: Microsoft Word Open the PDF in Word — it automatically converts to an editable document. The watermark usually appears as a separate element in the header that you can click and delete.
Alternative: Canva Drag the PDF into Canva, open it in the editor, manually select and delete the watermark on each page, then re-download.
For multi-page PDFs, the Kaptex tool is significantly faster than either manual method — it processes every page at once without any interaction required.
