How to use NotebookLM for presentation

NotebookLM cannot generate PowerPoint or Google Slides files, but it is a powerful research assistant for building presentation content:

  1. Add your source materials: research reports, background readings, and any articles relevant to your topic.
  2. Ask for a presentation outline: "Give me a 10-slide outline for a presentation on [topic]."
  3. Ask for talking points per section: "What are the most compelling facts from these sources for slide 3?"
  4. Request quotes and evidence: "Find a strong quote about X from my sources."
  5. Copy the output into Google Slides, PowerPoint, or Gamma to build the actual deck.

Every talking point can be traced back to a cited source, making your presentation easier to defend and fact-check.
