Can I use NotebookLM on my phone?

Yes, but NotebookLM does not have a dedicated iOS or Android app. It runs as a web app in any mobile browser. Open notebooklm.google.com in Chrome or Safari on your phone, sign in with your Google account, and it works.

The mobile web experience is functional for reading answers, reviewing sources, and chatting — but uploading sources and navigating between notebooks is more comfortable on a larger screen. The interface is primarily designed for desktop use.

For mobile, the most practical feature is Audio Overview — generate a podcast from your sources on desktop, then listen to it on any device or in any audio app. There is no iOS or Android app available as of 2025, though Google has not ruled one out as NotebookLM continues to develop.
